Doris A. (Hillman) Iavolo - Groveland

Doris A. (Hillman) Iavolo, 84, of Groveland, passed away peacefully on Friday January 4, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill.

Born in Lynn MA on May 7, 1928 she was the daughter of Ralph and Ebba (Sodergren) Hillman. A Homemaker for many years, she later worked at Northern Essex Community College from 1978 until her retirement in 2006. She was married to Angelo R. Iavolo until his death in 1977.

She is survived by her children, Suzanne Thornton of Groveland, MA and Michael Anderson and his wife Candy of Coello, IL. Grandchildren; Tara Poirier of Georgetown, MA, Maribeth and Brian Hopkins of Okinawa Japan, Beau Poirier of Raymond, NH, John M. Simoes of Groveland, MA and Christina Simoes of Haverhill, MA. Great-grandchildren; Sean, Taylor, Conner, Tyler, Maddie, Demian and Camron, as well as many nieces, nephews and family friends also survive her

Doris was predeceased by her husband Angelo, her son Robert and her sisters Virginia and Barbara.
