Newton, NH:  Doris Busch was granted her angel wings unexpectedly on August 3, 2021.

She was a wonderful person who is loved, missed, and will always be cherished and in our hearts.

She was born on June 30, 1928 in Marlboro, MA and is the daughter of the late Eugene LeDuc and the late Ruth (King) (LeDuc) Hadley.

Doris is a graduate of Amesbury High School and a member of the VFW Post in Kingston and several senior centers.  She retired from AT&T (former Western Electric) in North Andover, MA, where she worked in the crystal room.

She was married to the late Karl E. Busch on April 10, 1948 and was married for 36 years before his passing in 1984.

She leaves behind her daughters, Linda Busch of Newton, NH, Karen McPherson of Salem, NH, Karla and son-in-law, Kenneth St. Laurent of Newton, NH and son, Edward Busch of Newton, NH.  She had eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, her siblings, Eugene O. LeDuc of Holiday, FL and Helen Sass of Alabama, many friends at the campground where she has been camping for the last fourteen years and many of her friends in Holiday, FL where she escaped from the cold in the winter.

Doris enjoyed her day trips, plays, musicals, reading, knitting, games, cards and any adventurous vacation.  In her 70's, she did an all-day jungle trip which included hiking, zip lining and traversing and ended with the group saluting her with a shot of tequila for a job well done and thought she was great!

Doris was always up for a laugh and made others around her laugh with her.  Have something to do – you can count Doris in.
