Obituary


North Andover, MA: Dora E. (Saulnier) Brunault, 89, of North Andover, MA and formerly of Salisbury, MA, died peacefully on July 27 at the Meadows in North Andover. She was the wife of the late Maurice R. Brunault.

Born in Haverhill, MA on March 10, 1926, to the late Louis and Eva Saulnier, Dora grew up in Haverhill where she met and married her husband Maurice on April 6, 1947. They made their home in Salisbury, MA for forty-nine years and were member of Star of the Sea Parish. Together they raised five children and operated the Shady Lane Tourist Court for twenty-five years.

Dora was a homemaker for most of her life and worked for ten years at AT&T before retiring to travel with her husband. She enjoyed music, line-dancing at the Senior Citizens Center in Salisbury, performing in talent shows as a member of the Tip-Top Tappers of All Saints Parish, bowling in several local leagues, ballroom dancing at Rockingham Ballroom in Newmarket, and spending time with family and friends.

Dora is survived by her five children, daughter Nancy Conti and husband John of Waterford, ME, son Robert Brunault and wife Janet of Salisbury, son Michael Brunault and fiancée Cathy Gilman of Kensington, NH, daughter Janet Cugini and husband Paul of Amesbury, MA, and son Gary Brunault and wife Paige of Orlando, FL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Greg, Eric, Scot, Matthew, Paden, Abbey, Paul, and Bethanie, and six great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at BERUBE-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. A Mass of Christian burial will follow on Friday at 11 a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill, MA. Entombment in Eternal Light Mausoleum will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack Street #9, Lawrence, MA 01843.
