Haverhill: Donald A. Vincent, 67, of Haverhill, died April 10, 2022 at Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Honolulu, Hawaii, son of the late Richard and Ruth (Dauphinee) Vincent, he was raised and educated in Arlington, MA. He was a member of the Arlington High School Class of 1972 and was employed as a clerk and maintenance technician in the mail room of the Boston Globe for 26 years. A resident of Haverhill since 2016, he was also a former resident of Chelmsford MA and  Derry NH.

Don enjoyed playing hockey in his younger years and was a fan of all New England sports teams, especially the Boston Bruins. He was a devoted grandfather to Peter and Grace.  He was a horse racing enthusiast and attended the 139 ^th Running of the Kentucky Derby in 2013 won by Orb, the 34th running of the Breeder's Cup in Del Mar California in 2017, and summer time racing at the Spa in Saratoga Springs NY.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, Brian G. Vincent and his wife Roberta of Scituate, MA, and John J. Vincent and his partner Suzie of Manchester, NH, two daughters, Katherine "Katie" C  Vincent and her partner Adam Jackson, of Andover, and Joanna M. Vincent and her partner Benjamin Marchand of Andover, his brother Richard N. Vincent and his wife Nancy of Reading, a sister Elaine C. Brennan and her husband Michael of Arlington , two grandchildren, Grace Vincent and Peter Marchand, his longtime companion Jayne Arnold of Salisbury, his former wife, Rosemary (Briand) Vincent, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Marion Irwin.

Relatives and friends are invited to Don's life Celebration to be held on Thursday, April 14, 2022 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA.
