Danville, NH: Donald W. Leathers, 54, of Danville, died September 16, 2016 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident in Danville.
Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, MA, son of Janet P. (Goggin) (Leathers) Charette and the late Glendon A. Leathers, he attended Haverhill Public Schools and Whittier Regional Vocational and Technical High School.
Donald served in the Army National Guard for several years and was a tradesman employed by local contractors.
He enjoyed snowmobiling, racing dirt bikes, and motorcycling and was a member of Rolling Thunder. An avid NASCAR fan he also enjoyed racing stock cars at Star Speedway.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of six years, Julie A. (Comeau) Leathers, a daughter, Maegan E Leathers and her fiancé, Brian Gould of Haverhill, four sons, Justin White and his wife Tanya of Methuen, Donald W. "DJ" Leathers,Jr. of Atkinson, Jared O. Leathers and his fiancé, Emily Manning of Atkinson, and Dylan J. Alves of Brentwood, a stepson Jake Manfrates of Danville, his mother and step-father, Janet P. (Goggin) and James Charette, of Danville, a brother, David Caverno and his fiancé Laurel Guertin of West Ossipee, a sister Donna E. Arthur of Frenchville, ME, three grandchildren Scarlet White, Sebastian White and Adalina White, his father-in-law and mother-in-law Thomas and Jacquelyn (Leveille) Comeau, and sisters in law, Lisa (Comeau) Houle and Lori Comeau, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
