Atkinson, NH: Donald F. Landry, 96, of Atkinson, NH, died peacefully at High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA, on Saturday, October 17, 2020.

Born and raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late William Landry and Exilia (Paris)(Landry) Robidoux, and graduated from Lawrence High School, Class of 1942. After high school, he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for three years. Don worked at Shawsheen Mill, Western Electric, Craig Systems, and Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational School as a custodian before his retirement.  He was the beloved husband of the late Irene (Bedard) Landry, with whom he shared seventy years of marriage.

Don enjoyed bowling, playing cards, particularly 45's, which he did every weekend at home with his family. He also enjoyed traveling. For more than ten years he and Irene went on a cruise every year visiting such places as Alaska, Russia, Hawaii, Italy, Holland, Gibraltar, and many times to the Caribbean.

Don will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his sons, Dennis R. Landry, Sr. and his wife Alice of Lawrence, MA, Kevin J. Landry and his wife Lucy of Atkinson, NH, and daughter Patricia A. Landry of Atkinson, who has been his caregiver for many years, seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his sister, Claire LaChance and his grandson, Eric Landry.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9:30 am to 10:30 am on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH, following the guidelines of the State of New Hampshire for social distancing and the wearing of face masks in the funeral home. His Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 am from the funeral home followed by U.S. Army Honors at the Military Memorial Pavilion on the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home property.
