Donald "Don" Gautreau, age 70 of Plaistow, former longtime resident of Lynn, MA, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, July 10, 2015.

He was born on September 14, 1944 in Lynn, MA the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Robichaud) Gautreau. He was raised and educated in Lynn and graduated from Lynn Classical High School.

Don served his country in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged.

Don worked as an assembler for GE in Lynn and retired with 25 years of service.

Don loved the outdoors, he especially enjoyed going camping with his family and close friends. He enjoyed going on long rides on his motorcycle. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially during the holidays.

Don is survived by his wife of 48 years, Linda (Carlson) Gautreau of Plaistow. His daughter, Kristin Santerre and husband, Jay of Lynn, MA. His son, Jason Gautreau and wife, Isabel of Plaistow, NH. His three grandchildren, Bianca Carozzi, Noah Santerre and Kinsey Gautreau.

There are no calling hours or funeral services taking place. A private memorial service will take place at a later date.
