Kennebunk, Maine: Donald W. "Donny" Connolly, 30, a resident of Kennebunk and a former resident of Plaistow, NH, died peacefully from natural causes, at his home on Monday, April 8, 2019.
Raised and educated in Plaistow, son of Donald A. and Lynne (Smith) Connolly, he attended the Pollard School and was a member of the Timberlane Regional High School Class of 2006 where he lettered in Wrestling, Track and Cross Country. He attended Plymouth State College where he was a member of the Wresting Team.
Donny was a self-employed home improvement contractor and has been a resident of Kennebunk since 2015. He enjoyed being a member of the Muddas Football Team and playing basketball, and was a Pop-a-Shot Basketball Champion. An avid Celtics, Red Sox, and Patriots fan, Donny also enjoyed running and hiking and was devoted to his beautiful ten month old daughter, and cherished the relationship with his parents, brothers and sister.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his childhood sweetheart and devoted wife of two and a half years, Kristina E. (Rokas) Connolly, his daughter Scarlett E. Connolly, his parents, Donald A. and Lynne (Smith) Connolly of Plaistow, NH, four brothers and sisters-in-law, Scott J. and Kathy Connolly, of North Hampton, NH, Patrick M. and Allison Connolly of Plaistow, Nicholas A. and Amy Connolly of Plaistow , and Timothy R. Connolly and Jill Moylan of Portsmouth, a sister Kelly L. Connolly and her fiancé P.J. Kuhn of Mont Vernon, NH, maternal grandparents, Fred and Virginia (Goodrich) Smith of Haverhill, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, April 12, 2019 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121 A, Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will be on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the Rockingham Church, 90 Newton Road, Plaistow, NH. A private family burial service will immediately follow the funeral service.
