Dominic M. Morello, "Dick", "Dom", 79, longtime resident of Atkinson, NH, passed away on Friday September 24, 2021, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA.

Born in Boston, MA, he was the son of the late Philip and Rose (Gianino) Morello. Dominic spent the early part of his childhood in Boston. When he was seven years old his family moved to Medford, where he graduated from Medford High School, Class of 1960. Upon graduation, he proudly served in the U.S. Marines. For many years after returning to Medford, he worked at Morello Brothers Construction which he co-owned with his brother.

Dominic was an avid fisherman and antique car collector.  He loved playing cards and cribbage poolside at Las OLas Beach Club in Florida. He enjoyed golfing and was a 100 club member. His greatest joy was to be Papa to his five grandchildren. There wasn't a recital, sports game, or school activity that he didn't miss. He adored his grandchildren.

Dominic will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered in the hearts of his family; devoted wife of fifty-four years, Elaine (Mercurio) Morello, sons, Philip Morello of Atkinson, NH and Matthew Morello of Haverhill, MA, daughters, Christine Carpenter and her husband, Jonathan of Manchester, NH, and Donna Curtis and her husband, David of Andover, MA, brother, Gaetano Morello of Boston, MA, sister, Rosemarie Watt and her husband, Kenneth of Beverly, MA, grandchildren, Julianna Andersen, Sophia Carpenter, Savannah Curtis, Owen Curtis, and Nicole Morello, as well as his nephews, nieces, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to call from 5 pm to 7 pm on Wednesday September 29, 2021, at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will start at 10:30 am on Thursday September 30, at St. Anne Parish, 26 Emerson Ave., Hampstead, NH, burial to follow in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH.  For those that can't attend the mass, it will be live streamed at saintannechurchnh.org website.
