Sandown, NH: Diane L. (Stanton) Grow, 69, died on Tuesday March 17, 2020, at her home in Sandown, NH.
Born in Salzburg, Austria, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary (Garland) Stanton. Diane grew up in South Boston attending the area schools and graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School, Class of 1968. After high school she went to Rivier University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. For over twenty-five years she worked in the Emergency Department at Parkland Medical Center as a nurse and as a nurse supervisor.
Diane was known as the nicest person and a rock for so many she knew. Always the nurse, she liked taking care of others and loved spending time with her family. Diane was a big Red Sox fan. She also enjoyed traveling to Florida, Aruba, and Cancun where she would do one of her favorite activities, shop and haggle for a bargain. Diane would make crafts and jewelry that she liked to give to family and friends.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Paul Grow of Derry, NH, brothers, Stephen Stanton and Walter Stanton of Groton, VT, sister, Suzanne Shewokis of Sandown, NH, nieces, Kathleen O'Donnel, Sarah Shewokis, and Samantha Shewokis, best friend, Dottie Joyce, and Dottie's daughters, Mary, Patricia, and Lindsey. Diane was predeceased by her brother Arthur D. Stanton.
