Haverhill: Diane M. (Arsenault) Briggs, 76, of the Bradford section of Haverhill, died February 17, 2022, at Sutton Hill Center in North Andover.
Born in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Maxime Arsenault and the late Alice (Bourque) (Arsenault) Lafontaine. She moved to Haverhill with her family as a young child and attended local schools.
Diane was employed for thirty-nine years at Western Electric, AT&T Technologies and Lucent Technologies before her retirement, and was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and Local 1365 of the Communication Workers of America.
A longtime member of All Saints Parish and the former Saint Joseph Parish, Diane was an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and the New England Patriots. She enjoyed her home and spending summers at her son's camp at Old Orchard Beach, Maine. She also enjoyed Bingo, crafts, ceramics, computer games, as well as watching the Discovery and History channels.
Diane will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two sons, Donnie Briggs, and his loving companion, Joyce Smith of Haverhill and Walter Briggs, Jr., and his loving companion, Laraine Gralla of Lyman, Maine, a brother, Donald Arsenault and his wife, Catherine of Melbourne, FL, a brother in-law, George Pollister of Stratford, NH, grandchildren, Katie Demers and her husband, Andrew, Alicia Briggs and her fiancé, Andrew, Joshua Briggs and Connor Briggs and great grandchildren, Nicholas and Ali. She was predeceased in 2015 by her sister, Yvette Pollister.
Relatives and friends are invited to Diane's Life Celebration to be held on Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill.
