Atkinson, NH: Diana L. (Harris) Fay, 55, of Atkinson, died Thursday, July 28, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family, following her second courageous battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Westbrook, Maine daughter of James Harris and the late Cora (Boucher) Harris, she attended local schools. Diana graduated from Westbrook High School, with the Class of 1984, where she was a standout athlete in several sports including basketball and tennis and was twice named Maine State Female Athlete of the Year. She attended Southern New Hampshire University on a Basketball scholarship and received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Business in 1988.

As a young woman Diana was employed in sales by Georgia –Pacific, before retiring from the workforce to raise her family and devote her time to creating a warm and loving home for her husband, son, and two daughters. She also enjoyed vacationing and traveling with her family.

She will be missed and lovingly remembered by her devoted husband of thirty-two years, Jeff F. Fay, a son, Samuel H. Fay of Brighton, MA, daughters, Amanda C. Fay, and Lily R.D. Fay, both of Atkinson, her father, James "Jim" Harris of Westbrook, ME, two brothers, John Harris and his partner Daniel Boulerice of Montreal, CA and Alan Harris and his wife Sherry of Hampden, ME, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A private family graveside service will be held in Atkinson Cemetery under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home of Plaistow, NH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, or to The Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Place West, 6 ^th Floor,Brookline, MA.
