Derek T. Purnell, 48, of Sandown, formerly of Dorchester, MA, died unexpectedly on July 5, 2020, at his home in Sandown.
Born and raised in Dorchester, he was the son of the late Dennis and Donna (Vose) Purnell.
Derek was a print press operator by trade. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed golfing and going fishing on the lake near his house, as well as relaxing and socializing with his neighbors.
Derek will be sadly missed by his sons, Derek Purnell, Jr. of Goffstown, NH, Jonathan Reeves of Derry, NH, brother, Dennis Purnell, Jr. of Dorchester, MA, sister, Michelle Laurinaitis and her husband Steven of Dorchester, MA, as well as several uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces.
Services are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, Plaistow, NH.
