Seabrook, NH; Denise C. Ouellette, 71, former longtime resident of Haverhill, Massachusetts, died after a courageous battle with Cancer of unknown origin, on Friday, September 9, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Methuen, MA, daughter to the late Florian and Pauline (Riemitis) Ouellette, she was raised and educated in Lawrence, and was a graduate of Lawrence High School Class of 1968. She went on to further her education many times, graduating from Holy Ghost School of Practical Nursing in 1970, Catherine LaBourre Jr. College in 1974 and later earning her Bachelor's in Psychology and English from Emmanuel College in 1977.

Denise was a dedicated Registered Nurse for over forty-five years, caring for patients at many local hospitals in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. She was a caregiver to infants and the elderly until her retirement in 2017 from Berkeley Retirement Home and Nursing Center in Lawrence, MA.

A devoted animal lover, she enjoyed the wildlife around her home. Denise was an avid reader, doll collector, talented baker, and cake decorator. She loved trips to Old Orchard Beach, Hampton Beach, and live nightly concerts at the Shell. When she wasn't at the beach, she enjoyed Massabesic Lake with family and friends.

Denise was the most loving and devoted mother that a daughter could have.

Denise is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her best friend and daughter, Pauline C. Ouellette and her Fiancé, Joshua A. Burnett of Seabrook; two brothers, James J. Ouellette and his wife, Christine of Fall River, MA, and Brian P. Ouellette of Lawrence; aunt, Natalie Riemitis of Manchester, CT; the son she never had, Daniel J. Lukegord of Hampton, NH; several cousins, and her feline companion, Lovey.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, from 9-11am at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12pm in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St., Bradford, MA. Burial will be in the family lot at St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
