Denis P. Barber, 57, of Hampstead, lost his long courageous battle with cancer on December 13, 2017 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.  He fought the good fight and lived 5 years beyond his initial prognosis. 

 Born in Colorado Springs, CO, son of Estelle (Baker) (Barber) Yeo and the late John Barber, he was raised in Haverhill, MA and educated in the local school system. 

 He served in the U.S. Army and worked first in the Mortgage and Credit industry and as an IT Consultant and most recently as a carpenter and general contractor. 

 A student of the Martial Arts arts, he held a black belt in Shotokan and a brown belt in Uechi Ryu and he enjoyed participating in Karate with his 2 sons Joshua & Nate. Denis also had a passion for cooking and looked forward to making dinner every Sunday while having his Family and Friends over.  He always said "It warms my heart watching people enjoy my homemade dishes!"  He could literally throw anything together.  He also enjoyed music, traveling, spending time with family & friends, being outdoors and was fan of the New England Patriots. 

 He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Charleen M. Giso-Barber, two sons Joshua P. Barber of Haverhill, MA and Nathan J. Barber of Hampstead, his mother and step-father, Estelle and Daniel Yeo of Derry, NH, his brothers Michael Barber of New Hampshire, Lee Barber of Nevada, and Joe Barber of California.  Sisters Danielle Penney of Haverhill, MA, Tina Mooshian of Newport, NH, Michelle Janvrin of Seabrook, NH, Autumn Barber of California and his step-mother Rebecca Williams of California, his 2 grandsons Mason and Camden Barber of Merrimac, MA, Mother & Father in-law, Gerry and Elaine White of Florida along with several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
