Plaistow, NH: Deanna L. (St. Onge) Quaglietta, 80, a former longtime resident of Plaistow, died Saturday evening, August 25, 2018 at Hannah Duston House Longterm Care Facility in Haverhill, MA.
Born in Haverhill, daughter of the late Albert and Marie (Cote) St. Onge, she attended Haverhill Schools and was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1956. She was employed as a secretary at Bell Labs in North Andover from 1956 until 1966 and later worked in the medical records department of Whittier Rehabilitation Hospital.
A resident of Plaistow from 1966 until moving to Sandown in 2013, Mrs. Quaglietta was a longtime member of Holy Angels Parish, where she served as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Parish Prayer Group. An avid reader, she enjoyed the outdoors where she was an avid gardener, but she most enjoyed creating a warm and loving home for her family.
Predeceased by her husband Patsy Quaglietta in 2005, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters and sons-in-law, Anne and Bruce Whipple of Methuen, MA and Linda and James Lanouette of Kingston, NH, a son, Steven L. Quaglietta and his fiancé Vickie Williams of Newton, NH, a brother and sister-in-law, Joseph L. and Eleanore St. Onge of Haverhill, five grandchildren, Tyler, Julia and Adam Lanouette and Justin and Alicia Whipple, and nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Quaglietta's Life Celebration to be held on Tuesday evening, August 28, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main ST., Plaistow. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10a.m. in Mary Mother of the Church, of Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, Newton NH. Burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research.
