Salem, NH:  Dawn M. (Smith) Burke, 74, died March 23, 2022 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA.

Born and raised in Haverhill, Massachusetts, daughter of the late Charles H. and Donna (Mosher) Smith, she attended local schools and Haverhill High School. She was employed at the Salvation Army, and later in life, at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, California. She was also a former resident of Orange, California.

Predeceased by her husband William Burke and her son Robert Adams, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Shannon Adams and her husband Daniel Avilla of Orange CA, and Hilda Craig and her husband James Craig Jr. of Knoxville, TN, a step-son James Burke of California, three brothers Charles Smith, of Newton, NH, Keith Smith of Raymond, NH and Scott Smith of Salem, NH, also ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by sisters Bonnie Chapman and Pauline Smith.

Memorial service Arrangements will be announced at a later date in Knoxville, TN and Orange, CA. Local arrangements are under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral home of Plaistow, NH. In Lieu of flowers the family asks that donations in her memory be made to the American Heart Association.
