David
Wojichowski
May 24, 1958 – July 26, 2017
David L. Wojichowski, 59, a resident of East Hampstead for the last twenty-six years, died after a sudden illness on July 26, 2017 at Massachusetts General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Livonia, Michigan, son of the late Francis J. and Lorraine (Horoszy) Wojichowski, he was raised and educated in Livonia and Milford, MI and was a graduate of Milford High School where he was a member of the school basketball team. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University and later his MBA from the University of Houston.
David was employed as a Project Engineer and Manager at Wheelabrator Technologies Inc. from 1985 until 2001. In 2000, he founded De-Nox Technologies LLC of East Hampstead and has functioned for the last seventeen years as the owner and President of the company.
A longtime member of Saint Anne's Parish of Hampstead, he was also a member of the Hampstead Civic Club. He was a devoted husband and father and served as a coach for his son's and daughter's Basketball, Soccer and Softball teams. David also helped coach the Hampstead Wildcats Football Team and the Hampstead Lightning Lacrosse Team.
He was a twenty-four year member of the Hampstead Men's Basketball League and a recent member of the Golf League. He was an avid outdoors man and enjoyed biking, kayaking, boating, skiing, hiking and traveling, and shared those interest with his wife and children. He especially enjoyed family time at his summer home on Big Island Pond and completing projects around his homes. David possessed a great sense of humor and also appreciated a good comedy movie and maintained a lifelong interest in history.
He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his loving wife of twenty-six years, Marianne (Struthers) Wojichowski, his devoted children, Jennifer L. Wojichowski and Samuel D. Wojichowski, all of East Hampstead, a brother Joseph Wojichowski of Milford, MI , a sister Lori Stec of Beaufort, S.C. and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to David's Life Celebration to be held on Thursday, August 3, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow. His funeral will begin on Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint Anne's Church, Emerson Avenue, Hampstead, NH. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Make-A-Wish Foundation of NH, 814 Elm St., Suite 300, Manchester, NH, 03101 or to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
