David M. Malette, age 69, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 10, 2024, in Henniker, New Hampshire. He was born July 27, 1955, in Nashua, New Hampshire, to the late Raymond & Nancy (Guenette) Malette.

David had a successful and lengthy career in fire protection services. He was a long-time seasonal camper and loved New England sports on TV and in person. He enjoyed caring for his lawn & flowers, building anything from porches to bird feeders and spending much of his time on our golfcart with Holly Dog. David recently relocated to Sebastian, Florida and became a snowbird. David will be very missed.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carlene E. (Hahn) Sarty of Sebastian, Florida; son, Lance Malette of Merrimack, New Hampshire; two daughters, Michele Preston of Denham Springs, Louisiana and Carissa Beboutov and her husband Tim of Charlestown, South Carolina; stepson Christopher Sarty and his wife Cheri of Plaistow, New Hampshire; grandchildren Ross Simon, Benjamin Sarty, Brooklyn Malette and Hayden Malette. David was predeceased by his siblings Steven Malette, Brenda Malette & Mary Bernard.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend David's calling hours on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 11 am to 12 pm at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.  His funeral service will follow at 12:30 pm in the funeral home.  Donations in his memory may be made to Make A Wish, NH or to Boston Children's Hospital.
