Atkinson, NH: David P. Clifford, 72, of Atkinson, NH and formerly of Bradford, MA, died on May 20, 2016 at his home.

Born in Haverhill, MA, son of the late Joseph and Yvonne (Richard) Clifford, he attended St. Joseph Grammar School and graduated from Haverhill Trade School with the Class of 1963. He served with the Army National Guard during the Vietnam era. Mr. Clifford owned and operated Valley Vending from 1988 to 2002 and also worked part time as a Security Guard at Northern Essex Community College.

A member of All Saints Church, Haverhill, MA and the Garibaldi Club, he enjoyed bowling and golfing on various leagues and spending his winters in Davenport, FL.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years Regina (Sudol) Clifford; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Mildred Clifford and Stephen and Roberta Clifford; two sisters and brother-in-law, Patricia and Robert Arsenault and Anne Mary Clifford; and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two brothers, Daniel Clifford and James Clifford.

Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, from 10 AM - 12 PM at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. A Funeral Service will follow at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will take place in St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill, MA.
