Danville, NH: David E. Chambers, 67, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on January 8, 2019 at his home in Danville. Born in Portsmouth, NH, son of the late Rayford Chambers of Dothan, AL and Julia (Collins) Chambers of Plaistow, NH, David leaves behind his wife Cathleen (Rabuska) Chambers, two sons Jonathan and Devon Chambers, both of Danville, NH and also leaving the presence of a daughter Angela Chambers of Florida.

David was a Haverhill Police Officer for twenty-two years, who was honorably retired in 2000 as a detective and a member of the Cross Boarders Initiative Task Force of the Drug Enforcement Agency. That was superseded after serving six years in military law enforcement as a United States Marine, earning numerous awards and decorations.  David was also an avid member of the Nam Knights of America Motorcycle Club where he dedicated over a decade of service for veterans rights and benefits.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to calling hours for David from 4 PM to 8 PM on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. A memorial service will be held at 8:15 PM in the funeral home. Burial with U. S. Marine Military Honors will take place in the spring at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks a donation be made in David's memory to the Nam Knights of America Motorcycle Club.
