Lebanon, NH: Daniel W. Stewart, 63, a resident of Lebanon, NH since 2004 and a former resident of Blue Herron Avenue in Hampstead for many years, died on December 21, 2015 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH.

Born in Haverhill, MA and raised and educated in Atkinson, NH, son of the late Daniel and Bette (Killey) Stewart, he attended Atkinson Academy and graduated from Timberlane Regional High School with the Class of 1970.

Mr. Stewart was employed as a heavy equipment operator for the Hampstead Highway Department for many years. An avid fisherman and hunter, Mr. Stewart enjoyed stock car racing in his younger years.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Anne (Barry) (Moore) Stewart, a son Daniel Stewart of Sandown, NH, two sisters, Lucy Stewart of Atkinson, and Sherri Newnan of Kingston, three brothers, James Steward, Robert Stewart, and Ted Stewart, all of Atkinson, and two grandchildren.

There are no calling hours. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the West Hampstead Cemetery, Hampstead, NH.
