Daniel "Dan" R. Pollock, 47 of Plaistow, formerly of Melrose, MA and southern California, passed away at his home on Saturday, July 18, 2015.

Dan was born on October 10, 1967 in Winchester, MA the son of Reginald E. and Dianne (Staples) Pollock. He was raised and educated in Melrose, MA and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1985.

He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps following his graduation from high school. Dan served his country on active duty for 7 years before being honorably discharged.

Dan is survived by his father, Reginald E. Pollock and his wife, Jeanette of Danville, NH. His mother, Dianne L. Pollock of Salem, NH. His daughter, Rachel Pollock and her fiancé, Levi Miller of Vista, CA. His sons; Cory Pollock, and his wife, Madison of Temecula and Tyler Pollock also of CA. His sisters; Lisa Pollock of Arlington, MA and Stacie Sheridan and her husband, Steven of Billerica, MA. His grandson, Noah Miller. His maternal aunt, Karen Staples of Billerica, MA. His paternal aunts; Ruby Pollock of Oxford, MA and Marion Connors of Wakefield, MA. His paternal uncles; Victor Pollock and his wife, Marianne of Sturbridge, MA and George Pollock and his wife, Barbara of Worcester, MA.

There are no calling hours or funeral services for Dan. Burial with military honors will take place on Monday, August 3, 2015, at 11 AM in the New Hampshire State Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy., Boscawen, NH 03303.
