Daniel J. Mitchell, 61, died suddenly on August 8, 2020. He was born on December 30, 1958 in Malden, MA and was raised in Marshfield, MA . In 2002, he bought his home in Hampstead, NH.

He was the beloved son of the late John J. Mitchell, Jr. and Claire (Sullivan) Mitchell. He leaves his loving family: brother John J. Mitchell III and his wife Ruthanne (Rossi) Mitchell of Oldsmar, Florida, his sister Maureen M. Yamartino and her husband William J. Yamartino of Abington, MA. Danny also leaves his nephew, best bud and godson Mark J. Mitchell and his wife Catherine Mitchell of Palm Harbor, Florida and their son, his great-nephew John J. Mitchell IV. In addition, Dan leaves his girlfriend Debra Kimmett, along with aunts, cousins and friends. Dan also left behind his two cats that he adored, Tiggy and Buzzy.

Danny graduated from Marshfield High School and Johnson & Wales Culinary Institute in Providence, RI. He recently celebrated his 30 year employment anniversary with the Boston Marriott Copley Hotel in Boston, the past 18 years in Banquets.  He was a member of the Marriott Quarter Century Club. He truly loved his job and all his friends at the Marriott Copley.

Danny loved working around his home and yard, the ocean, swimming, kayaking, all animals, Beatles music, antique and muscle cars, 60's TV shows, the History Channel, and Clint Eastwood Movies.
