Plaistow, NH: Daniel F. Millett, 47, a resident of Plaistow for the past five years, died unexpectedly on May 20, 2020 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, after being stricken at home.

Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, son of Linda Millett, he graduated Haverhill High School and attended Northern Essex Community College.

A former longtime resident of Kingston, NH, Daniel worked as a truck driver for local construction companies and later was employed as a long-haul truck driver.

A devoted father, Daniel enjoyed gardening, bird watching, hunting and fishing.  He was known as a jokester and was always the life of the party with his humorous personality.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his daughter Alyssa E. Millett of Kingston, his mother, Linda Millett of Hampstead, a step-son Jordan Hauser of Brentwood, his former wife, Samantha (Griffin), and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Private services for family and friends will be held on Wednesday with burial in Saint Joseph Cemetery, under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral home, 116 Main St., Plaistow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to The American Heart Association.
