Danville NH:  Daniel N. Look, "Dan", 71, of Danville NH, passed away suddenly in his home on Tuesday, February 16, 2021.

He was born in Machias ME, the son of the late Charles N. Look and the late Barbara (Spencer) Look Bruce. Dan was a graduate of Washington Academy in East Machias ME, Class of 1967. He served his country in the U. S. Navy being deployed aboard submarines. Upon returning home from the service, Dan worked at the Portsmouth New Hampshire Shipyard. He later formed his own business as a carpenter and general contractor. More recently, he worked at Ashby Cross Company in Newburyport MA as an assembler before his retirement.

Dan was considered a funny guy but possessed the wisdom to know when a situation required seriousness. Always an optimist, he tried to see the good side of everything in life. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Both he and his son, Martin, had bass boats and entered many fishing tournaments together.

Daniel will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of almost 49 years, Rebecca (Dennison) Look, of Danville NH, son, Martin D, Look, his wife, Melissa (Kuse), of Danville NH and grandson, Rick Adams, of Tewksbury MA; three brothers, Roger Look and special friend, Linda Behan, of Meriden CT, Gary Look and his wife, Janelle (Fitzhenry), of Machiasport ME, Dwight Look and his wife, Norine (Leavitt), of Jonesboro ME; his two sisters, Beverly (Look) Holst and her husband, Greg, of Alexander ME, Peggy Look of Cutler ME and "sister", Tiffany Tate, of Clifton ME. Dan was predeceased by his youngest brother, "little Marty" and by his daughter, Elizabeth A. Look.

A celebration of Dan's life will be held at a later date.
