Haverhill, MA: Daniel R. "DJ" Desmettre, Jr., 32, of Haverhill died on May 25, 2014 at his home in Haverhill of natural causes.

Born in Exeter, NH and raised and educated in Haverhill, son of Daniel R. and Sharon (Bourdelais) Desmettre, he attended Haverhill Public Schools, and graduated from Whittier Regional Vocational Technical School in 2000 and went on to attend New Hampshire Vocation Technical Institute in Nashua, NH.

DJ worked in inventory control for WIS International in Lowell. He enjoyed computers, social networking, fishing, and spending time with his friends. He was currently enrolled in an online course in graphic design.

He is survived by his parents, Daniel R. and Sharon (Bourdelais) Desmettre, a brother, Michael E. Desmettre all of Haverhill, his maternal grandfather, Howard L. Bourdelais of Arcadia, FL, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends may call on Friday, May 30, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. His funeral will begin on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 12 p.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. at Holy Angels Church of St. Luke the Evangelist Parish, 8 Atkinson Depot Road, Plaistow, NH.
