Plaistow, NH: Daniel A. Bishop, Jr., 48, of Plaistow died on June 13, 2016.
Born in Haverhill, MA, and raised and educated in Atkinson, NH, son of Daniel A. Bishop, Sr. and Marsha (Nickerson) Bishop, he attended Atkinson Academy and graduated from Timberlane Regional High School with the Class of 1986.
Daniel was employed at Westville Grand Rental Station in Plaistow as a mechanic for eighteen years. He had also been employed at Lewis Builders and as a laborer for local companies.
An avid Boston Bruins fan, Daniel enjoyed camping and skiing. He also enjoyed trips to Province Lake and Hampton Beach. Most of all, Daniel was an electrical genius and handyman and could fix anything.
He is survived by his mother, Marsha (Nickerson) Bishop of Plaistow, his father and step-mother, Daniel A. Sr. and Dianne Bishop of East Wakefield, NH, a daughter and son-in-law, Brianna (Consentino) and Jake Sarno of Hampstead, NH, a brother and sister-in-law, David and Karen Bishop of Atkinson, a sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and Russell Hawkins of Plaistow, a sister, Cherie Bishop of Plaistow, two grandchildren, Dakota Ann Sarno and Adrian Joseph Sarno, two step-brothers and their wives, Wade and Elizabeth Phelps of Nottingham, NH, and Joel and Kelly Phelps of Wilmington, NC, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Daniel's Life Celebration on Monday, June 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will take place on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Holy Angels Cemetery, Plaistow.
