Haverhill: Curtis H. Britton, III, age 51, a resident of the Bradford section of Haverhill, died July 11, 2020 at Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill, following a long illness.

Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, son of the late Jeannette (Greenwood) and Curtis H. Britton,Jr. He graduated from Haverhill High School and was a member of the hockey team. Most recently, Curtis was employed as a cashier at Bradford Shell and previously worked for fifteen years at DynoChrome Inc. of Newburyport.

A devoted and loyal dog owner, he was a fan of the Boston Bruins, New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox and WWE wrestling. He was a member of several bowling leagues and volunteered his time as a hockey coach at Haverhill High School.  He enjoyed trips to Newburyport and Rye Beach.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by a sister Jonye L. Rogers of Sandown, two brothers, Scott M. Britton and his wife Paula of Sandown and Jeffrey A. Britton of Orneville, ME, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Plaistow, NH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association or MSPCA, Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA.
