Plaistow, NH: Corinne H. (Donnelly) Holt, 93, a resident of Plaistow for the past eight years, and a former longtime resident of Lowell, died peacefully on March 22, 2022 at her home, and surrounded by her family.

Born, raised and educated in Lowell, daughter of the late Arthur and Signe (Wahlgren) Donnelly, she attended local school and was a member of the Lowell High School class of 1946. She was first employed as a dental hygienist, and later worked at Wang Laboratories, and finally as a clerk at the IRS, until her retirement.

She was the second oldest member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Chelmsford, Mrs. Holt was a member of one of the founding families of the church. An avid reader, Mrs. Holt also enjoyed completing crossword puzzles and taking long walks on Wells beach.

Predeceased in 1994 by her husband of forty-two years, Milton Palmer Holt, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son John A. "Jay" Holt and his wife Tricia of Plaistow, with whom she made her home, two brothers, Robert Donnelly of Chelmsford, MA and Ronald Donnelly of Florida, a sister Marilyn Herbert, of Methuen, Her son in-law, Raymond Cheney, Jr. of FL, four grandchildren, Jason Holt, Eric Holt, Alyssa Cece & her husband Ozcan, and Cynthia Cheney, two great grandchildren, Sophia and Serena, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Lisa Cheney, her sister, Lorraine Tyler, and brothers, Leonard Donnelly, and Arthur Donnelly.

Relatives and friends are invited to Mrs. Holt's calling hours to be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Donations in her name may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church in Chelmsford, MA.
