Plaistow, NH: Constance E. (Gratcy) Miller, 89, of Plaistow, died peacefully on March 1, 2022, at the Hyder Hospice House in Dover.

Born in Dover, daughter of the late Francis and Emma (Baldwin) Gratcy, she was also the step daughter of the late Florence Gratcy. She was raised and educated in Dover, NH and later Fall River, MA and Watertown, MA and graduated from Watertown High School. Trained as a certified Nursing Assistant, Mrs. Miller worked for twenty-nine years at Bon Secours Hospital in Methuen which later became Holy Family Hospital.

A very caring and concerned person, all of her life, Mrs. Miller enjoyed quilting, sewing and cooking. She also enjoyed trips to Texas to visit family and the Mid-Atlantic States.

Predeceased by her husband Clifford Miller in 2004 and her son Robert in 2020, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her son Daniel J. Miller and his wife Carla of Rockwall, Texas, and a daughter Nancy Pane of Tamworth, NH, a sister Deborah MacElroy of Texas, five grandchildren, David Fox, Christine Fox, Adam Thornbro, Gabriella Francis and Luke Miller, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place at a later date in Plaistow Cemetery under the direction of Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
