Haverhill, MA: Constance L. "Connie" (Zangari) David, 82, a resident of Haverhill for most of her life, died peacefully, Sunday evening , May 7, 2017, at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Haverhill, daughter of the late Herbert and Lena (St. Laurent) Zangari, she attended Haverhill schools and was a member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1952. She furthered her education at Fisher Junior College graduating in 1953.

Mrs. David's career as an administrative assistant and office manager, spanned several years. She was employed at General Electric, AVCO, the medical offices of Drs. Clifton, Shula and Freidberg, A T & T Technologies and finally retired from Lucent Technologies.

A member of All Saints Parish and the former Saint Rita's Parish, Mrs. David had served as the President of the Catholic Women's Club. She was a former resident of Cape Coral, Florida, from 2000 until moving back to Haverhill in 2010.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Mrs. David enjoyed volunteering as a Cub Scout den mother and high school football booster. An avid Red Sox fan, she also enjoyed the New England Patriots and the Boston Celtics, gardening, baking, camping, playing "the slots" and Scrabble.

Predeceased by her husband Leon E. "Lee" David, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three sons, Michael L. David, Sr., of Haverhill, Ronald E. David and his fiancé Franny Armstrong of Atkinson, NH, and Robert A. David and his wife Karen of Las Vegas, NE, three brothers, Herbert Zangari of Boston, Ronald Zangari of Bradford, and Michael Zangari and his wife Paula of Haverhill, seven sisters Elizabeth "Betty" Burns of Haverhill, Mary Anne Gucciardi of So. Burlington, VT, Dolores "Dolly" Pacione of Plaistow, Lorraine Bilodeau and her husband Donald, Patricia O'Connell, Carole Zangari and Cynthia Zangari, all of Haverhill, four grandchildren, Michael L. David, Jr., and his wife Brianna, Rebecca Lee George and her fiancé Jay Sellers, Kyle David and his wife Dondi, and Ryan David and his wife Angela, Great grandchildren, Lillian George, Callum Sellers, Jaden David and Abigail David, brothers-in-law Albert David and his wife May and Richard David, her loving dog "Bella", and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister Kathleen Noyes.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. David's Life Celebration to be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, Haverhill. Burial will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill.
