Atkinson – Conor M. Howley, 39, grew up in a U.S. Army family living overseas and across the United States. He resided in Boston and Reading MA and most recently in Atkinson NH, and passed away at his home on Wednesday January 18, 2023 following a brief illness.

Born July 16, 1983 in Frankfurt, Germany, he was the son of Thomas and Marion (Lochman) Howley. Conor graduated from Timberlane Regional High School and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from the Harvard Extension College. He was a kind and giving person who spent six months in Thailand teaching English to the local people. He later worked as a Technical Writer in different capacities throughout his career. He was an avid animal lover, especially of his dog Saoirse and cat Doug, and was very active supporting Save the Chimps/Chimpanzee Sanctuary. He also enjoyed traveling to Ireland occasionally to visit family members there.

Members of his family include his parents Thomas and Marion (Lochman) Howley of Atkinson, NH; and one brother Kevin Howley of Wilton, NH. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Wilson and Miriam Lochman and his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Mary Howley. Conor was blessed to have a large extended family in New England and many good friends in the Plaistow, NH area.

Family and friends may visit Wednesday January 25, 2023 from 4PM to 7PM at the Brookside Chapel and Funeral Home, 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, January 26 at 11 a.m. at Saint Anne Catholic Church, 26 Emerson Ave, Hampstead NH.   The Mass can be viewed on livestream atwww.saintannechurchnh.org.
