"Brother" Senter, Jr.
February 28, 1941 – December 4, 2017
Plaistow, NH: Clinton W. "Brother" Senter, Jr., age 76, a lifelong resident of the Town of Plaistow, died December 4, 2017 at his son's home, following an extended illness.
Born, raised and educated in Plaistow, he was the son of the late Clinton W. and Pearl (Raymond) Senter, and attended the Pollard School.
Mr. Senter worked as a general contractor and bulldozer operator and was one of the principals in the ownership and operation of Senter Brothers, Inc. He also served the Town of Plaistow as the Road Agent from 1973 until 1975 and as the Dog Officer for several years.
A longtime member of the Plaistow Fire Department and a former member of the
Plaistow Fish and Game Club, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, Pro-Wrestling, country music, trips to the White Mountains and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (Mayo) Senter in 2011, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons and daughters-in-law, Clinton W. III, and Karen Senter of Plaistow, Ricky A. and Vicki Senter of Northwood, and Jeffrey B. and Samantha Senter of Plaistow, two daughters and sons-in-law Cynthia L. and James Vadeboncoeur of Raymond and Diana R. and Pete Aliberti of Sandown, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Lillian and Tony Riccio and Gwendolyn "Penny" and William Mayo , all of Plaistow, two sisters-in-law, Linda Senter of Danville and Sandra Senter of Plaistow, nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson Clinton W. Senter IV and brothers Clifford, John and Robert Senter.
Relatives and friends are invited to Mr. Senter's Life Celebration to be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow. Friends may share remembrances with the family at 7:30 p.m. A family burial service will take place at a later date. The family requests that memorial donations be made to Rockingam VNA and Hospice.
