Clifton B. Liliedahl, age 87, of Derry, NH died peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2024 at Summercrest Senior Living Facility in Newport, NH. He was the beloved husband of Kyong Soon (Park) Liliedahl who passed away in 2021.

He was born in Leesville, Louisiana on December 7, 1936 and was the son of the late Ralph and Ona (Liles) Liliedahl.

Clifton was raised and educated in Leesville, Louisiana. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Army in 1958 and was stationed in Germany where he was the first ever Hawk CW Radar repairman in Europe.
He attended Louisiana State University and Fitchberg State where he earned a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and graduated magna cum laude.
Following his honorable discharge from the Army,  Clifton was employed at Raytheon with the Hawk Missile program  in 1962, and was immediately sent to Korea where he met and married the love of his life for the next 59 years.  In 1967, he was reassigned to the Raytheon plant in Andover, MA and he relocated his family to NH, where he happily became a New Englander.
He continued to enjoy a long and successful career with Raytheon which included overseas assignments for he and his family in 1974 to Taiwan and  Saudi Arabia before returning to New Hampshire in 1979, where he continued to work in management until his retirement in 1998.

He was a member of the American Legion and the Society of Logistics Engineers.

Clifton was a knowledgeable and avid do-it-yourselfer and mechanic,  and he was always working on home repair and improvement projects, or on the family automobiles. He enjoyed traveling and exploring new places and spending time with family.

He is survived by his children J. David Liliedahl and his wife Michelle of Grantham, NH, B. Daniel Liliedahl and his wife Claire of Groton, MA and Denise Liliedahl Corriveau of Washington, NH, his grandchildren Morgan, Nicholas, Jake, Matthew, Jessica, Cam, and Colton, his great grandchildren Liliana, and Aidyn, his brothers Jerry Liliedahl of Evanston, Il and Ralph Liliedahl and his wife Wanda of DeRidder, Louisiana.

Clifton was sadly predeceased by his siblings Marvin Nels Liliedahl, and Aunjal Rhea Roberts.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 10am – 12pm at the Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home 116 Main St. Plaistow, NH. His funeral service will follow at 12:15pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will take place in Atkinson Cemetery. Optional memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association.
