Haverhill, MA: Claire E. (Perreault) Paquette, 80, of Haverhill passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen after being stricken at home.

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, daughter of the late Arthur S. and Antoinette (Roger) Perreault, she attended the Tilton School and graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1951.

Mrs. Paquette worked as a production associate for AT&T Technologies for fifteen and had also worked in the Haverhill School system as a cafeteria worker for eight years.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Mrs. Paquette was a member of All Saints Parish, the former St. Joseph's Parish, the Communication Workers of America, and the AFL-CIO, Local 1365.

Mrs. Paquette is survived by her husband of sixty years, Richard P. Paquette, a son and daughter-in-law, Richard P. Jr. and Lisa Paquette of Haverhill, a daughter and son-in-law Diane and William W. Gordon Jr. of Moultonborough, NH, three grandchildren, Danielle Paquette of Haverhill, Alyson (Gordon) Cahoon of Moultonborough, NH, and William W. Gordon III of Moultonborough, NH, two great-grandchildren, Molly and Emma Cahoon, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Tracy (Paquette) Greenwood.

Relatives and friends may call on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will begin on Tuesday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
