Orlando, Florida:Miss Claire I. Moreau, age 69, of Orlando, Florida and formerly of Haverhill, MA, died Friday morning at the Orlando Regional Hospital.
Born in Haverhill, MA, daughter of the late Robert O. & Blanche E. (Raymond) Moreau, she attended St. Joseph Grammar School and Presentation of Mary Academy in Hudson, NH.She worked as a Secretary at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard and more recently as a Secretary in the Chaplaincy Service for the Veterans' Administration in Bedford, MA, until her retirement in 2001.
She was a member of the Blessed Trinity Parish, Orlando, Fl, the former St. Joseph Parish, Haverhill, MA and All Saints Parish, Haverhill, MA.Miss Moreau was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE) and the Amvets, Post 147, Haverhill, MA.
She was an avid reader and a serious collector of Elvis Presley memorabilia.
She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Robert O. and Tonya Moreau of Orlando, FL; two nieces, Jessica Mangion and her husband, Mark of Bradford, MA and Heather Moreau of Orlando, FL; two great nephews, Jonathan Mangion and Dominick Mangion, both of Bradford, MA; two great nieces, Isabella Mangion of Bradford, MA and Haylie Moreau of Orlando, FL; and a soon-to-be-born great nephew, Jayden Moreau.
Relatives and friends may call on Thursday, January 12, 2012, from 6 - 9 PM at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, MA.Her funeral will begin on Friday, January 13, 2012, at 9 AM from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in All Saints Church, Haverhill, MA.Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill, MA.
