Haverhill: M. Claire (Morin) Moll, 89, a native and lifelong resident of Haverhill, died Friday evening, December 27, 2019 surrounded by her loving family in the home that she shared with her late husband from 1963 until his death on December 3, 2019.
The daughter of the late Auguste J. and Mathilde (Arsenault) Morin, she attended Saint Joseph Grammar School and graduated from Saint James High School in 1948. As a young woman Mrs. Moll was employed by Western Electric Co. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother, she enjoyed creating a warm, loving and inviting home where all of her children and their friends were welcome.
A member of All Saints Parish and the former Saint Joseph Parish of Haverhill, Mrs. Moll enjoyed gathering every month with her sisters and cousins for their sewing club. She also enjoyed quilting, rug making, and crocheting Afghan blankets and mittens and hats for all of her children and grandchildren.
Married for sixty-seven years to her husband, Paul R. Moll, who died twenty-four days ago, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two sons, James L. Moll and his wife Connie of Bradford, and Lawrence J. Moll and his wife Laurie of Haverhill, three daughters, Elizabeth A. Henderson and her husband William L., of Haverhill, M. Christine Dillon and her spouse Nancy Elswick of Easley, S.C., and Angela M. Moll of Worcester, a brother William J. Morin of Exeter, three sisters, Marguerite Nordengren of Bradford, M. Elizabeth Deluca and her husband Richard of Plaistow, NH and Jeanne Comiskey of Haverhill, also sixteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers Emile Morin, John Morin and Paul Morin, and sisters Theresa Boucher and Marie Louise Morin.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 2, 2020, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will be held on Friday, January 3, 2020 at 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill.
