Sandown, NH: Ciro A. "Sonny" Genualdo, 85, a resident of Sandown, NH since 1948, died at his home on March 7, 2023, with his devoted family by his side.

Born in East Boston, MA he was the son of the late Arthur and Rose (Siracusa) Genualdo. Sonny worked on the family's dairy farm while attending school followed by employment with the family restaurant, The Genualdo Spaghetti House.  He later worked at Kingston Steel Drum Company and Ryan Barrel Company followed by the Boston Common Garage, and was still employed part-time right up until the end of December of 2022.

Sonny was a member of the National Rifle Association. He was known to love and take pride in the work he did and wanted everything always kept clean and tidy.  Sonny enjoyed spending time with his wife on vacations in Bar Harbor and York, Maine, couples' trips to Mohegan Sun with his best friend and all those fun family summer trips to White Lake and Funtown Splashtown USA.

He will be missed so much by his wife of fifty-three years, Marcia (Wise) Genualdo, a son and daughter-in-law Arthur S. "Artie" and Joy Genualdo of Sandown, two daughters and sons-in-law, Roselyn J. and Jason Langianese of Bedford, NH, and Gina A. and Scott Ellison of Plaistow, two sisters, Annette Kukene and Jeanne Pearson of Sandown, seven grandchildren, Kyle & Kaylee Genualdo, Nicole Giallongo, Brooke & Colin Langianese, Alexia & Julia Greenwood, a great grand-daughter Everleigh Greenwood and we can't forget his best friend, Joseph "Chuck" LaRuffa and his wife Dee Dee of Haverhill, MA. He was predeceased by his brother Salvatore Genualdo.

Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours to be held on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. A brief service of remembrance will follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sophia's Fund in memory of Cole Stoddard.
