Plaistow, NH: Christine M. (Roland) Foster, 71, a resident of Plaistow, died on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of  Richard Foster with whom she shared fifty-three years. She was born in Melrose, MA, on October 3, 1953, and was the daughter of the late Paul and Claire (Quinn) Roland. Christine was raised and educated in Melrose and was a graduate of Melrose High School with the Class of 1971 and then attended Northen Essex Community College. In her early years, she was employed as a florist. She later took a position as a paraprofessional, teaching in the Timberlane School District. Christine enjoyed hanging out with her family and friends, trips to Salisbury beach, and gardening around her home. She will be dearly missed.

In addition to her husband, Christine is survived by her son, Eric Foster, of Plaistow, her granddaughters McKenna Foster and Lyla Foster, her siblings Claire Murphy, Carol Roland, Larry Roland and his wife Michele, and Gregory Roland and his wife, Nancy. Christine was sadly predeceased by her siblings Karen Yetman and Danny Roland.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Funeral services and burial will be held privately.
