Raymond, NH: Cheryl A. (Carrow) Currier, 65, of Raymond, died March 11, 2020 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, daughter of Jeannette (Sweeney) Rundle and the late Donald Carrow, she was raised in Haverhill, MA and Newton Junction, NH, graduating from Sanborn Regional High School in Kingston.
Cheryl had a long career as a para legal working at several law firms, including Eaton, Solms, Mills and McIninch of Manchester, NH, Sheehan Phinney Law Offices of Manchester, and Attorney Sumner Kalman, as well as for the Rockingham County Attorney's Office. Most recently, she was employed by the Holmes and Ells Law Office of North Hampton, until her retirement. In her retirement, Cheryl worked for the American Legion Post of Exeter, NH and Irving Gas in Raymond. She was also a long time Justice of the Peace for the State of New Hampshire and a member of the Women's Auxiliary of American Legion Post # 32 of Exeter.
She was devoted to her family and cared for her aged mother and donated her kidney to her late brother, Robert Carrow. She was a volunteer for the Sexual Assault Support Services of Rockingham County and Liberty House in Manchester.
An avid New England Patriots fan, Cheryl enjoyed crafts, creating stained glass, reading, completing puzzles and playing cards and board games. She also enjoyed shooting pool, knitting and crocheting.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of twenty-three years Roger E. Currier, a son, Joseph L. DeVeau, Jr., of Massachusetts, three daughters, Sharri Marshall of Barrington, NH, Doreen Corson of Farmington, NH, and Michelle Fryou and her husband Steve of Barrington, a daughter-in-law Dana DeVeau of Massachusetts, her mother Jeannette (Sweeney) Rundle of Raymond, NH, three brothers, Gary F. Rundle and his wife Margaret of Indiana, Mel Carrow of Florida, and Donald Carrow of New York, two sisters, Deborah Carrow of Manchester and Kimberly Cyr of Massachusetts, grandchildren, Logan DeVeau, Bryanna DeVeau, Douglas Marshall II, Zachary Branco, Cody Corson, Jeffrey Corson, Travis Corson, Curtis Corson, Samantha White, Tylor DelPozzo, Hannah Fryou and Emma Fryou, and four great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by brothers Robert M. Carrow and Ray Carrow.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours to be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Cheryl's funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to
