New Bern, NC:  Charlotte (Maillett) Cox, 88, of New Bern and formerly of Spruce St. Haverhill, died peacefully in her home on May 18, 2018.

Born, raised and educated in Haverhill, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Vivian Maillett and attended the Crowell School. She was a homemaker for all of her life and was a former member of Saint John the Baptist Parish of Haverhill. She enjoyed bowling, playing bingo and spending her time with her family.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter and son-in-law Anna C. and William Maxwell, of New Bern, three sons, Henry Cox of Haverhill, Carl Cox of Mesa, Arizona, and William Cox of New Bern, five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren other extended family members and friends. She was predeceased by her sister Helen Panneton and brother Nelson Maillett.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday evening, May 22, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill . Her funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Saint John the Baptist Church, Lincoln Avenue, Haverhill.
