IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Charles E.
Laurette
December 24, 1953 – August 22, 2025
Charles E. Laurette, 71, of Danville, NH, passed away in his home on Friday, August 22, 2025. Born in Lawrence, MA, on December 24, 1953, he was the son of the late Charles N. and Judith (Dimmock) Laurette.
Charlie, as he was affectionately known, was a man with a big heart and a quick wit. He worked for many years as a house painter and took pride in his craft. He also enjoyed fishing, raising and racing pigeons, and shooting pool. Above all, he loved being with his family and especially cherished time with his grandchildren, who will remember him for his humor, warmth, and generosity.
Always willing to lend a hand, Charlie will be remembered for his selflessness, his ability to make others laugh, and his steadfast love for those closest to him.
He was the devoted husband of the late Donna (Whitney) Laurette and was formerly married to Patricia (James) Cooney. He is survived by his children: Charles "Chuck" P. Laurette of Salisbury, MA; Kimberly Ortiz and her husband Omar of Merrimack, NH; Mary Prevo and her husband Michael of Lowell, MA; and his stepchildren Alice Devine, Mitzy Frazzetta, and Ryan St. Louis, who were an important part of his family and his life.
Charlie also leaves behind his brother Kenneth Laurette and sister Gail Laurette, both of Ohio; 28 beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was sadly predeceased by his sisters Cheryl and Joanne Laurette.
Family and friends are invited to join us for a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, September 25 at 4:00pm at Searles School and Chapel in Windham. More details and RSVP here: https://fb.me/23Y5xfIdw2SOoAu
