Clermont, Florida: Charles D. Ball, 77, a resident of Clermont since 2002, and a former longtime resident of Haverhill and Lawrence, MA, died October 7, 2017 in Clermont.
Born in Methuen, son of the late William J. and Ada (Ryan) Ball, he was raised and educated in Lawrence and was a member of the Lawrence High School Class of 1959. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as a Private First Class.
For most of his working life, Mr. Ball was employed as a shipper and receiver for Textron Defense Systems. An avid New York Yankees fan, he enjoyed traveling and numerous cruises with his wife.
He is survived by his wife of forty-three years, Rosalie (Coco) Ball, two sons and daughters-in-law, William H. and Laurie Bramlitt of Brentwood, NH and Robert L. and Elizabeth Bramlitt of Stratham, NH, a brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Janet Ball and a sister Doris Evans, all of Lawrence, four grandchildren Sarah, Amanda, Nicole and Benjamin, and several nieces and nephews and many loving brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, who shared great memories over the years.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, October 22, 2017 from 1 to 4 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. A service of remembrance will take place at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home with the rendering of military honors by the U.S. Army in the Military Honors Plaza at the funeral home.
