Haverhill, MA:  Chanel V. Ouellette, 85, of Haverhill and formerly of Lawrence, died on February 27, 2021 at the High Pointe House in Haverhill.

Born and educated in Edmundston, New Brunswick, Canada, he was the son of the late Samuel and Sophia (Lacombe) Ouellette.  Mr. Ouellette traveled from Canada to the United States in 1963 and settled in Lawrence and later in Haverhill in 1982.  He was employed for thirty years as a Crane Operator for L. D. Boddy until his retirement.

A member of St. John the Baptist Parish, Haverhill, Mr. Ouellette was an avid fan of the New England Patriots.

The husband of the late Ursula (Desjardins) Ouellette, to whom he was married for thirty-six years until her passing in 1994, he will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three sons and daughters-in-law, Peter G. and Ingrid Ouellette of Auburn, NH, Dennis Ouellette of Manchester, NH and Glen and Raelene Ouellette of Seabrook, NH; four daughters and son-in-law, Martine Cyr of Montreal, Canada, Lynne Ouellette of Haverhill, Brenda Clevesy of Haverhill and Stacy and Bill Witt of Beaver, PA; thirteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.  He was pre-deceased by nine brothers.
