Windham, NH: Catherine Ann (Marchitto) Persson, 89, of Windham, NH died on November 15, 2019, at Windham Terrace.

Born in Woodside, NY, she was the only child of the late Sylvie and Rosanna (Barber) Marchitto. She was a graduate of Dominican Commercial High School in Jamaica, NY and received an Associate's degree in business from Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA. Catherine was employed at Raytheon for eighteen years and her final position was that of administrative secretary in the Patriot Program office.

Her favorite activities were square dancing and gardening, which she did well into her eighties, traveling, reading, and jigsaw puzzles. She was a member of the Atkinson Garden Club and chairperson of their annual Green Sale for several years. A longtime member of St. Anne's Church, she coordinated the Fellowship program for many years. Catherine was also secretary to the Square Dance Foundation.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters Jean (Persson) Grant, of Londonderry, NH, Carol Etscoviz and her husband David, of Myakka City, FL, two sons, Eric Persson, of Stratham, NH, and Pompano Beach, FL, John Persson, of Daphine, AL, grandson Christopher Glen Grant and his partner Brittany Yacono, of Manchester, NH.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, November 21, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her funeral will begin on Friday morning, November 22, 2019 at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Anne's Church, 26 Emerson Ave, Hampstead, NH.
