Haverhill: Catherine L. "Lorraine" (Lagasse) Gorski, 97, a native and life-long resident of Haverhill, died March 29, 2017 in Haverhill.

Daughter of the late Emile and Louise (Shevenell) Lagasse, she was a 1937 graduate of Haverhill High School and later graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse from the Saint Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Lowell.

Mrs. Gorski was employed for twenty-five years in the Croston Ward at the former Hale Hospital in Haverhill and was a member of the L.P.N. Association of Massachusetts.

A member of All Saints Parish of Haverhill and the former Saint Joseph Parish, she enjoyed spending her winters with her late husband in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Predeceased by both her husband William F. Gorski and her daughter Billie G. (Gorski) Ferrick in 2015, she will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three sons, Thomas P. Gorski and his wife Janis of Naples, Florida, Stephen A. Gorski and his wife Linda of Plaistow, NH, and Edward J. Gorski of Hampton, NH, a son-in-law Michael Ferrick of Newburyport, grandchildren, Matthew Gorski, Andra Haggerty, Alex Gorski, Zachary Gorski, Murphy Ferrick and Liam Ferrick and three great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mrs. Gorski's Life Celebration to be held on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home,116 Main St. Plaistow, NH Her funeral service will follow at 11:45 in the funeral home.
