Catherine Ann Brenning, age 65 of Andover, passed away peacefully at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, MA on Sunday, June 29, 2014 surrounded by her twin children and her sister Marybeth.

She was born on May 28, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of the late Dr. Leo and Mary (McEvoy) Brenning. She was raised and educated in VA and CA. The daughter of a U.S. Navy Dentist, her family lived in many different areas. She graduated from UCLA and Lesley University. She had also attended Harvard University.

Catherine was a brilliant, yet humble person who held advanced degrees in both psychotherapy and nursing. She was an avid reader and a spectacular cook.

She is survived by and will be dearly missed by her beloved twin children, Maya Jachimowicz of Revere, MA and Zachary Jachimowicz of Andover, MA. Her three sisters, Marybeth Brenning of Pacific Grove, CA, Betty Davis and husband, David of West Newton, MA and Peggy Stringham of Waltham, MA also survive her.

At the request of her family, there are no calling hours or funeral services.
