Epping, NH: Carolyn J. (Wile) Gagnon, 74, died on April 19, 2014 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House.
Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, daughter of the late Henry and Cecile (LaPlume) Wile, she graduated from Haverhill High School with the Class of 1958. Mrs. Gagnon was employed as a layout operator for over thirty-two years at Western Electric Company, AT&T Technologies, and Lucent Technologies.
A member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Communication Workers of America, AF of L/CIO, she enjoyed beading, crafts, towle painting, and most of all trips to Disney World with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Gagnon, a step daughter, Kathleen M. Gagnon of Manchester, NH, a sister and brother-in-law, Verna G. and Harold Smith of Amesbury, MA, a brother and sister-in-law, Albert E. and Carol Wile of Haverhill, MA, several cousins, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a step-son Timothy Gagnon, a sister, Rene Blanchette, and a brother, Henry Wile.
Relatives and friends may call on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main Street, Route 121A, Plaistow, NH.
