Haverhill: Carol L. (Lavoie) Mazzaglia, 65, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, died January 10, 2017 at Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton.

Daughter of the late Arthur and Arlene (Nelson) Lavoie, Mrs. Mazzaglia was educated in the Haverhill Public Schools and was member of the Haverhill High School Class of 1970. She was employed for twenty five years as an operator by New England Telephone and Telegraph and was a member of Saint John The Baptist Parish.

An avid reader, Mrs. Mazzaglia enjoyed ceramics and collecting glass

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband of forty-two years, James M. Mazzaglia, three daughters, Lynne M. Wiley and her husband Dana of Haverhill, Rebecca J. Mazzaglia and Sheryl M. Mazzaglia, both of Haverhill, a brother Paul Lavoie of Belmont, MA, a sister, Joyce Leavitt of Haverhill, three grandsons, Seth Sparks, Jivany Torres, and Julien Torres, a great-grandson, Caleb Sparks, several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 3 to 5 p.m. at BERUBE -Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill. Her funeral service will follow at 5:15 at the funeral home. The family suggest that memorial contributions be made to The American Cancer Society.
